Barcodes and QR codes

Barcodes and QR codes

Barcodes and QR Codes are useful tools to personalize and enhance your emails with scannable, actionable content. Whether you are sending event tickets, special promotions, or personalized links, adding a Barcode or QR Code can help streamline the experience for your audience.

How Barcodes and QR Codes Work

In the email editor, Barcode and QR Code are available as separate tools, but they behave similarly. You simply drag the desired tool into the email design where you want it to appear.

Both tools include a Content field where you input the data you want represented by the code. They also feature an Add Merge button, allowing you to insert dynamic merge tags. This means you can create static codes (like a standard event page link) or unique codes personalized for each recipient.

QR codes

QR codes are commonly used in email marketing for transactional emails for ticketing & event admission. With our email editor, you can easily insert a QR code into your email design to create a personalized experience for your email recipients.

To take advantage of OR codes, you will first need to understand if your event/ticketing system supports the use of QR codes.

You will also need to decide how you'll use the QR code: to provide unique information to each email recipient or provide one-code-for-all.

  1. Drag the "QR Code" element (left) into your design canvas (center).
