Contact Counts on Dashboard Not Updating


When you add new contacts to your Delivra account, you might notice that the total contacts count at the top of the Contacts dashboard doesn't update immediately. Don’t worry—this is expected behavior. The counter typically refreshes every 24 hours.

How to Confirm Your Contacts Were Added Successfully

If you’ve recently imported or added contacts and want to double-check that everything went smoothly, here are a few reliable ways to verify:

1. Review Import History

  • Go to your Import History page (under the Contacts dashboard) to see the status of any recent CSV imports.
  • You’ll be able to confirm whether the import was successful and how many records were processed.

2. Check the Contacts Table Total

  • Scroll to the bottom-right corner of the Contacts table to view the real-time total number of contacts.
  • This number updates more frequently than the dashboard counter.

3. Spot Check Known Addresses

  • Use the search bar to look up specific email addresses you know were part of the recent upload.
  • This can quickly confirm if individual records made it into your database.

4. Use Segments for Confirmation

  • Create or test a segment that includes your new contacts (e.g., by import date, tag, or list).
  • View how many subscribers match that segment to confirm inclusion.

If you regularly import contacts and need timely confirmation, consider adding a step to your process where you review the Contacts table total or spot-check a few known addresses shortly after the upload.
