Do expired status contacts show up in import reporting?

When you import a CSV file into your Delivra account, certain contact statuses are flagged in the resulting error report—like held or unsubscribed contacts. However, expired contacts are not included in this report.

Why?
Expired contacts are considered inactive and are not treated as "active errors" during the import process. While they exist in your account, their status doesn't interfere with or cause the import to fail, so they’re quietly excluded from the error listing.

Best Practices and Tips

  • If you're auditing why certain records didn’t update or import as expected, be sure to check all contact statuses in your list view—not just the error report.
  • For expired contacts you wish to reactivate, consider whether they still meet permission and deliverability standards before making status changes.

Practical Use Cases
