Hiding Standard Contact Fields

Sometimes, less is more when managing contact data. Delivra allows administrators to hide demographic fields that aren't currently in use. This helps streamline your account by preventing unused fields from being accidentally included in segments, forms, or campaigns.

What Happens When You Hide a Field?

Hiding a demographic field removes it from visibility in key areas of the platform:

  • It cannot be used to build segments
  • It cannot be merged into campaigns
  • It is unavailable in forms
  • It becomes invisible to account administrators during contact management

This is especially useful for keeping your workspace clean and reducing the chance of errors in your marketing workflows.

How to Hide a Demographic Field

Follow these steps to hide a field in your account:

  1. Click on Settings dashboard.
  2. From the left-hand menu, click Contact Fields under Data Setup.
  3. Locate the field you want to hide and click Edit.
  4. Check the box labeled Hide Field.
  5. Click Save to confirm

Notes and Limitations

  • Hidden fields are still visible to site administrators, but not to regular account administrators.
  • The field will continue to appear in the Configure Fields listing, even when hidden.
  • Not all fields can be hidden. If the "Hide Field" checkbox is not present, that field is set to always be visible.
    • You can review which fields fall into this category by looking for those marked as "Always" shown in the field settings.
