Home Dashboard

Home Dashboard

The Home Dashboard gives you a customizable view of your Delivra account as soon as you log in. From campaign performance and subscriber engagement to recent drafts and scheduled mailings, widgets put useful information and common actions in one place.

You can arrange, resize, add, or remove widgets to create a dashboard that works for you. Your dashboard setup is saved specifically for your admin login, so other users on your account can create their own views without changing yours.

Accessing the Home Dashboard

The Home Dashboard is displayed immediately after you log in to Delivra.

To return to the Home Dashboard from elsewhere in Delivra, click the Home icon in the top-left corner of the screen.

Customizing Your Dashboard

The Home Dashboard is designed to be flexible. You can rearrange and resize widgets based on the information you use most often.

Moving Widgets

To rearrange your dashboard, click and drag a widget to a new location. This makes it easy to keep your most important metrics, campaigns, or actions where they are easiest to find.

Resizing Widgets

Widgets can be resized by clicking and dragging the side of the widget.

Each widget has a minimum width based on the information it contains. As you resize a widget, its content automatically adjusts to fit the available space.

Adding or Removing Widgets

Click Manage Widgets in the top-right corner of the Home Dashboard to choose which widgets appear.

The Manage Widgets window displays the available widgets with a toggle next to each one. Toggle a widget on to have it displayed on your dashboard, or toggle it off to hide the widget. You can display as many or as few widgets as you'd like. Simply click 'Done' when you are finished to apply your changes.

Using Dashboard Layouts

Layouts provide a quick way to change the organization of your Home Dashboard. Delivra includes five standard layouts:

  1. Classic - Displays all widgets in the default order
  2. Analytics - Shows trend and recent campaign metric widgets
  3. Planning - Quick access to mailing calendar and draft campaigns
  4. Essentials - Subscriber metrics, quick actions, and recently sent campaigns
  5. Studio - See all of your drafts and upcoming campaigns

To access layouts, click Manage Widgets, then select the Layouts tab. You can always select one of these pre-defined layouts to reset your Home Dashboard, or click the 'Reset Layout' button at the bottom left to fully start over.

Saving a Custom Layout

After arranging, resizing, adding, or removing widgets, you can save your setup for later.

Click Save Current Loadout and enter a name for your layout. Your saved layout will then appear alongside the five standard layouts, making it easy to switch between different dashboard views.

For example, you might create one layout focused on campaign analytics and another focused on planning upcoming sends.

Customizations are saved per admin. Your layouts and dashboard configuration are not visible to other admins and will not change their Home Dashboard view

Selecting a Reporting Timeframe

Use the timeframe selector at the top of the Home Dashboard to view applicable data from the past:

  • 7 days
  • 30 days
  • 90 days

Most widgets displaying analytics will update based on the selected timeframe. Widgets that are not based on a reporting period, such as Plan Usage and Mailing Calendar, are not affected by this setting.

Available Widgets

Subscriber Metrics

Subscriber Metrics provides an overview of your audience and its recent engagement.

The widget displays:

  • Active subscribers: Contacts who are currently subscribed.
  • Engaged subscribers: Contacts who opened or clicked during the selected 7, 30, or 90-day period.
  • Average open and click metrics: Average engagement metrics for the selected timeframe.

Use this widget for a quick pulse check on both the size and recent activity of your audience.

Engagement Over Time

Engagement Over Time displays opens, clicks, and click-to-open rate (CTOR) for the selected timeframe in a bar graph. Click on the metrics in the top-right corner show show or hide them on the graph

Top Performer

Top Performer highlights your best-performing recent campaign based on open rate.

This widget provides a quick way to see which recent mailing captured the most attention from its recipients. Click on 'View Campaign' to quickly jump to the Mailing Overview report for a deeper look at the metrics.

Mailing Conversion

Mailing Conversion provides a funnel view of how recipients progressed through your mailings:

Use this widget to quickly see where recipients are progressing through, or dropping out of, the engagement funnel.

Plan Usage

Plan Usage shows your current account usage against the limits defined by your Delivra contract.

Depending on your contract, the widget displays either:

  • Active subscribers compared with your contact limit, or
  • Sent emails compared with your email volume limit.

Plan Usage is not affected by the 7, 30, or 90-day timeframe selector.

Recent Campaigns

Recent Campaigns displays your 40 latest sends along with headline performance information.

Click a campaign from the widget to open its full campaign metrics and take a closer look at its results.

Recent Drafts

Recent Drafts helps you pick up where you left off by displaying campaigns that are still being worked on.

Each campaign will display badges under the title showing which aspects of the campaign have been completed, like having a subject line added and an audience selected. A campaign will show as "Ready to Send" once all aspects have been completed and the campaign has been tested. Click a draft to continue editing it.

Quick Actions

Quick Actions provides shortcuts to common tasks so you can start creating directly from the Home Dashboard.

You can quickly begin:

  • Creating a new email campaign
  • Creating a new segment
  • Creating a new automation
  • Importing contacts

If SMS is enabled for your account, New SMS Campaign is displayed in place of the option to create a new segment.

Mailing Calendar

Mailing Calendar displays sent and scheduled mailings by date, giving you a convenient view of recent and upcoming campaign activity.

Click on a day to view a full list of campaign activity scheduled for the day. You can also click a sent campaign to view its results, or click a scheduled campaign to continue editing it.

The Mailing Calendar is not affected by the 7, 30, or 90-day timeframe selector.

Deliverability Health

Deliverability Health provides an at-a-glance view of delivery and bounce health, including your bounce rate over time.

The widget uses the selected 7, 30, or 90-day period, making it easier to monitor changes in deliverability health over different reporting periods.

Running Multivariate Tests

Running Multivariate Tests displays currently active multivariate tests, including the live test combinations and the current leader.

Use this widget to keep an eye on tests in progress without needing to navigate away from the Home Dashboard.

When a Widget Has No Data

Some widgets may not have information to display yet. For example, a new account may not have recent campaigns or drafts.

When there is no applicable data, the widget provides an action to help you get started, such as creating your first campaign or creating the type of content associated with that widget.

Best Practices and Tips

Arrange the Home Dashboard around the work you do most frequently. If campaign performance is your priority, place analytics widgets near the top and save the setup as a custom layout. If you're planning upcoming communications, a layout emphasizing Mailing Calendar, Recent Drafts, and Quick Actions may be more useful.

A few other ways to make the dashboard work for you:

  • Save different custom layouts for different workflows instead of repeatedly rearranging widgets.
  • Use the 7-day view to check recent activity and the 90-day view when you want a broader picture of performance.
  • Resize high-priority widgets to give their data more room while keeping less frequently used widgets compact.
  • Remove widgets you don't regularly use to keep your dashboard focused.
  • Remember that your setup belongs to your admin login, so you can customize freely without rearranging the dashboard for other admins on the account.

Practical Use Cases

Monitoring Campaign Performance

Create an analytics-focused view using Subscriber Metrics, Engagement Over Time, Top Performer, Mailing Conversion, and Deliverability Health. Switch between 7, 30, and 90 days to compare short-term activity with longer-term trends.

Planning Your Work

Combine Mailing Calendar, Recent Drafts, Recent Campaigns, and Quick Actions to create a workspace centered on day-to-day campaign management.

Keeping an Eye on Account Activity

Place Plan Usage alongside Subscriber Metrics and Deliverability Health for a quick overview of audience size, account usage, and sending health.

Switching Between Responsibilities

If you use Delivra for several different tasks, save custom layouts for each workflow. You can then switch between your preferred views rather than rebuilding the dashboard each time.
