Changing the format of a merged date field
You can control how date fields will appear when merged into content in the Settings dashboard of your account.
Go to Settings > Click Data Setup > Click Contact Fields. Use the search box to find your field, then click Edit.
Edit Field options will slide out from the right. Use the Date Format drop-down menu to select format of date display, then use the Time Format drop-down to select format of time, or choose not to display time.
