Create a segment based on date joined within a particular month
You can use available Date clauses to identify Contacts that joined within a specific period of time. Example: You want to find Contacts that joined in the previous month to target for an upcoming announcement.
To get started, navigate to the Contacts dashboard, then click Segments from the left menu:
How-To
- Click the "Create Segment" action button in the top-right.
- Choose "Email" for segment channel.
- Choose the "Regular Segment" type.
- Give your segment a name.
- Optionally, add a Description and store the segment in a folder.
- Open the "Select Field" drop-down menu and search for the Date Joined field:

- Select the "Date Joined (Email)" field by clicking it.
- Select the operator "date between":

- Use the calendar icons to set both date values to evaluate:

- Click the "Save & Next" button to save the segment and see results.
