Manage test recipient lists
A test recipient list is a list of email addresses that you consistently send tests of email templates or campaigns to from the system. While you can manually add email addresses to send tests to, we recommend that you save the lists of email addresses you frequently use. After a test recipient list has been saved to your account, it's available to choose from a drop-down menu when testing email templates and campaigns.
You will create and manage test recipient lists in the Settings dashboard of your account. Navigate to Settings > Account > Test Recipient Lists.
Create a new test recipient list
- Navigate to your Settings dashboard and click the Account option.
- From the Account options menu, click Test Recipient Lists.
- Click the Create Test Recipient List button. (top right)
- A pop-up will display.
- Enter a name for the test group in the Test List Name box.
- Enter email addresses (one per line, no commas) in the Emails box.
- Optionally choose this list as the default for testing.
- Click the Ok button.
Edit an existing test recipient list
You can update a test recipient list anytime or change if it's set as the default or not for your account.
- Navigate to your Settings dashboard and click the "Account" option.
- From the Account options menu, click "Test Recipient Lists".
- Hover over the test recipient list you want to edit to expose a Delete button (right).
- Click the drop-down arrow to find the Edit option.
- A pop-up will display. Make changes as needed, then click the "Ok" button.
Set a test recipient list as the default
Whether you're creating a new list or editing an existing list, you will see a checkbox to set the list as the default. Setting a test recipient list as the default means that when you test any email template or campaign, that list of email addresses will be automatically chosen to test to.
