How do I find past sent campaigns?

When filtering your Campaign dashboard for Sent status campaign, the default view is capped at 120 days worth of campaign data.

Use our Advanced search to quickly find past sent campaigns in the recent past or beyond the 120 day default views. This tool includes search filters like Campaign Type, Sent Date Range, and terms included in Campaign Name, Subject Line, or Segment. This saves you time in finding older content to clone for re-use or view results, no matter when the campaign sent.

How-To

  1. Navigate to the Campaigns Dashboard. On the right-hand side of the campaigns table you will see a button "Find Sent Campaigns". Click to start your search.

    • Sent Date: Choose a date range for when the past campaign(s) sent.
    • Name: This is the campaign name used in the system.
    • Subject Line: This box searches for words contained in the campaign subject line.
    • Segment: This box searches for words contained in the segment name the campaign sent to.

  3. Once you've entered the relevant information, click "Search" in the top-right corner. The search will return the results at the bottom of the page.

Why can't I find campaign information more than a year or two ago?
Data for sent campaigns is retained for a period of time specified in your license agreement. The typical data retentions are as follows:

Basic/Starter - 90 days
Professional - 450 days
Enterprise & up - 1080 days

Once a sent campaign reaches the data retention mark, all data for that mailing is removed from the database. Your analytics reports will show line-item information, but there will be no drill-down data for who received the campaign, what the design looked like, who opened, clicked, unsubscribed, etc.

Contact Support or your Client Success Manager for information about your data retention. This retention period can be extended but any data that has already been deleted cannot be recovered.

This time limitation also applies to API calls made to retrieve data.
