How do I use Content Locks in my email templates?
The Content Lock feature in the email editor allows site administrators to lock sections of email templates or campaign design so that account administrators cannot edit it. This feature benefits multi-member teams or franchise teams keep important parts of their design and branding protected for consistency.
Content lock overview
Each cell of your email template can be locked or unlocked to other users. In the email designer, click into a cell and use the lock/unlock icon to toggle locking or unlocking cells:
Unlocking content
Locked content will be identified as a red lock icon.
- Click the icon to unlock the cell.
- Make your edits to the content section as needed.
- Click the lock icon to lock it again.
Troubleshooting Notes
Content locking is available to site administrators or account administrators with lock/unlock permissions. If you do not see this feature in email templates, have your site administrator check your permissions. If you need help with this feature, please reach out to support@delivra.com
