Setting Up SMS in Delivra

Requesting a Phone Number

Delivra provides a toll-free number or a local number in your area code and works with vendors to obtain the necessary carrier approvals. This step involves completing a Delivra-provided form, after which the team will manage communications with vendors to finalize setup.

1. Information gathering
Delivra will provide you with a form to complete that will supply various information about your company and your SMS marketing plans. Delivra will work with you to ensure that your terms & conditions, privacy, and SMS call-to-action statements are in-line with SMS marketing regulations.

2. Submit for approval
Delivra will submit your requested SMS keyword and long code, along with your submitted form information to our SMS vendors and mobile carriers for approval.

3. Activate and connect your program to Delivra
Once approved, Delivra will connect your SMS keyword and long code to your Delivra account.

Configuring SMS in Delivra

After your SMS program has been approved, you can configure your settings within Delivra. To do this, navigate to Settings > Opt-In Messaging. Here, you can define key messaging parameters, including the initial welcome message that new subscribers will receive when they text your keyword to the designated phone number.
