Tags are a flexible way to organize your contacts based on preferences, behaviors, or CRM-managed categories. Whether you need to quickly add or remove large groups of contacts from tags, Delivra offers simple bulk tools to manage these updates efficiently.
How to Bulk Add Contacts to a Tag
If you have multiple contacts to add to an existing tag, using a CSV import is the easiest method. Here's how to do it:
Steps to Add Contacts to a Tag
Navigate to your Contacts dashboard.
Select All Contacts from the left-hand menu.
Click the Import Contacts button.
In Step 1, click Browse Files and select your CSV file.
Click Next to move to mapping.
In Step 2, map your CSV's email column to the Email Address field in Delivra.
Tip: The system may automatically recognize and map standard fields.
In Step 3, adjust the import settings.
Locate the Tags section and select the tag you want to assign the imported contacts to.
Click Import to complete the process.

Ensure your CSV file is properly formatted before uploading.
If you need to correct a tagging mistake or update contact preferences managed outside Delivra, you can bulk remove contacts from one or more tags by uploading a CSV of email addresses.
Steps to Remove Contacts from Tags
Navigate to your Contacts dashboard.
Click Tags from the left-hand menu.
In the top-right corner, click the Remove Contacts button.
Click Browse Files to upload your CSV file of email addresses to update.
Select the tags you want to remove these contacts from by checking the appropriate boxes.
Click Next to finalize the update.

Tag removals cannot be completed through SFTP uploads.
