Overview
If you encounter issues with your email templates not rendering correctly, it may be due to the use of cell groups. This guide will help you understand how to optimize your email templates by using Delivra's pre-built layouts and adjusting padding and spacing appropriately.
Common Issues with Cell Groups
Cell groups in Delivra can sometimes cause rendering issues, especially in the Air version of Delivra. These issues often arise when the cell groups are not optimized. Unlike the Legacy version, where you set up and customize cell groups first, the Air version requires you to form cell groups by dragging cells towards each other.
Recommended Fixes
To avoid issues with cell groups, follow these steps:
1. Use Pre-built Layouts
Instead of creating cell groups, use Delivra's pre-built layouts. These layouts are designed to render correctly across various devices and email clients.
Half & Half Layout: Divides the section into two equal parts.
Thirds Layout: Divides the section into three equal parts.
Left Third Layout: Divides the section with one third on the left and two thirds on the right.
Right Third Layout: Divides the section with two thirds on the left and one third on the right.
2. Adjust Padding and Spacing
Use the Space/Bumper tool or manually edit the padding to add spaces around the sections. This ensures that your content is evenly spaced and looks good on all devices.
Using Cell Groups in Delivra Air
Cell groups are supported in Delivra Air but function differently than in the Legacy version. Here are a few key points to remember:
Formation: In Delivra Air, form cell groups by dragging cells towards each other rather than setting them up beforehand.
