Integrating Shopify with Delivra allows you to harness valuable eCommerce data to drive more personalized and effective email marketing. Whether you're following up on abandoned carts or celebrating recent purchases, this integration makes your customer communication smarter and more relevant—without requiring technical expertise.
Delivra’s Shopify integration brings together your store's customer, order, product, fulfillment, and shipping data for use in your email campaigns. This connection supports data-driven segmentation, automation triggers, and personalization to boost engagement and drive conversions. Once connected, the data syncs automatically, giving you timely insights into customer behavior and shopping activity.
Key features include:
Automatic syncing of customer, order, and checkout data
Segmentation based on purchase behavior and history
Triggered campaigns such as post-purchase follow-ups or abandoned cart reminders
Personalized product recommendations using real-time store data
The integration process is quick and easy, typically taking less than 10 minutes to complete.
In your Shopify admin, use the search bar to look for "Build custom app".
If prompted, allow custom app development by confirming both prompts.
Click Create App and name it anything you like.
Under the Configuration section, enable the following five read-only permissions:
read_orders
read_products
read_fulfillments
read_shipping
read_customers
Click Install App in the top-right corner.
Click Reveal token once to generate your API token.
Important: Save this token securely—you won’t be able to see it again.
Log into your Delivra account.
If you're not already using Legacy, click the settings cog at the top-right and select Legacy.
Navigate back to the settings cog, then choose Integrations.
Find the Shopify icon (use the one without the orange Zapier logo).
Enter your shop URL and the API token you saved earlier, then click Next.
Choose which data you want to sync. All options are enabled by default, so uncheck any that aren't relevant to your marketing needs.
Still in Legacy mode, navigate to the Contacts dashboard.
Click Configuration in the side menu, then select Custom Tables.
Click Create Custom Table in the top-right.
Ensure both Standard Table and Commerce Table are selected, then click Next to finish setup.
Once complete, your Shopify data will start syncing with Delivra, opening the door to behavior-based automation and deeply personalized campaigns.
Secure your token: Because the API token is only visible once, be sure to store it securely in a password manager or encrypted file.
Use segments wisely: Leverage purchase history or abandoned cart data to build tailored segments for remarketing or rewards campaigns.
Test before launching: After syncing, test a few automations and segments to make sure the data is flowing correctly and behaves as expected.
Stay in Legacy when needed: Since this integration is configured in the Legacy platform, remember to switch views when managing or updating settings.
Abandoned Cart Reminders: Trigger email reminders to encourage customers to complete their purchases.
Post-Purchase Series: Send thank-you messages, review requests, or cross-sell suggestions after an order is completed.
VIP Segmentation: Identify high-value customers based on purchase frequency or order size and tailor your campaigns accordingly.
Winback Campaigns: Re-engage lapsed shoppers based on inactivity since their last order.
