The SMS Contact Record


This article covers how to find the contact's profile record and how to make manual changes to your contacts.

What is the Contact Profile

Your contacts' Profiles are located in the Contacts dashboard and accessed by clicking the 'Edit' button that appears when hovering over a record. The contact profile allows you to view and edit your contact's data directly within Delivra. You can also view the mailings that have been sent to the contact and their engagement, opens, clicks, etc., with those mailings.

Use Cases for Viewing the Contact Profile

There are a variety of reasons why you would want to view the data of an individual contact. A few use cases are:
  1. Managing a contact: There are times when you need to make an update to data or to change the subscription status of a contact. The Contact Profile is the easiest way to manage a single contact's data.
  2. Troubleshooting: Trying to figure out why a contact received (or didn't receive) a mailing? The Contact profile and the Audit Log are very helpful tools
  3. Learning habits: Sometimes it is helpful to look into the behavior of particularly valuable contacts in order to target them more effectively to seal the deal.

Overview of the Contact Profile

  1. Navigation Pane: The Navigation Pane lets you switch between viewing your contact's data, mailings sent, engagement, and the Audit Log.
  2. Main Window: The main window displays information relevant to the section you're viewing.
  3. Additional Inputs: You can choose which fields to show or hide on the Contact Profile. This feature helps keep your view organized by displaying only the fields that matter most to you.
  4. Cancel: Click "Cancel" to return to the Contact Dashboard without saving any changes.
  5. Save and Exit: Click "Save and Exit" to return to the Contact Dashboard after saving your changes.


Other Sections of the Contact Profile

  1. Messages: View the campaigns sent to this contact, along with the status of each mailing. Hover over a record and click the "View" button to access the mailing's detail page.
  2. Engagement: See all the opens and clicks generated by this contact. This section displays the relevant campaign, the URL that was clicked, and the IP address from which the click originated.
  3. Audit Log: Review all changes made to this contact's profile over the past 30 days. This tool is particularly useful for troubleshooting or understanding when something unexpected occurs.
