What are Strategic & Executive Insights?

Executive and Strategic Insight reports allow administrators to review the overall performance, compare campaign statistics, and subscriber statistics. Customization is available for graphs, charts, and time periods. Find these new Insight reports in your Analytics dashboard > Customer Overview (left).

Note: There are no default configurations, these reports must be created from scratch using available graphs and charts. Upon first access you will be presented with a pop-up to configure your first graph or chart.

 

Executive Insight Reports

Administrators can customize which graphs/charts to display, and the number of time periods to compare. The following graphs/charts are available:

• Top Activity: Subscribers by Account
• Top Activity: Joins by Account
• Top Activity: Unsubscribes by Account
• Top Activity: Helds by Account
• Top Activity: Delivery Rate by Account
• Top Activity: Complaint Rate by Account
• Top Activity: Number of Mailings Sent by Account

• Top Activity: Clickthrough Rate by Account
• Overview Statistics: Emails Sent by Account
• Overview Statistics: Emails Sent by Month
• Overview Statistics: Subscriber Activity
• Overview Statistics: Complaint Rates
• Overview Statistics: Delivery Details by Account
• Overview Statistics: Opens
• Overview Statistics: Clickthroughs
• Overview Statistics: Clickstreams/Purchases

Strategic Insight Reports

Administrators can customize which graphs/charts to display, and the number of time periods to compare. The following graphs/charts are available:

• Subscriber Activity - Joins
• Subscriber Activity - Unsubscribes
• Campaign Metrics - Regular
• Campaign Metrics - Triggered
• Campaign Metrics - Automated
• Report Group Metrics
• Email Volume
• SMS Volume

 
How do I setup Strategic & Executive Insight reports?

Navigate to your Analytics dashboard and click 'Customer Overview' from the left menu to begin.
The example we will cover here is building a Strategic Insights report to compare Subscriber Activity for Helds, Joins, Unsubscribes for the last two years.
  1. Click on Strategic Insights from your Customer Overview dashboard.
  2. Choose graph(s) or chart(s) from the 'Insights to include' drop-down. In this example, choose 'Subscriber Activity - Helds', 'Subscriber Activity - Joins', and 'Subscriber Activity - Unsubscribes'. Multiple graphs and charts can be configured at one time, check all that apply.
  3. Choose account(s) from the 'Include activity from' drop-down
  4. Choose cycle range to compare from the 'Cycle Range' drop-down (Yearly, Quarterly, Monthly, Customize). In this example, choose 'Yearly'.
  5. Choose how many cycles to include from the 'Cycles' drop-down. In this example, choose '2'.
  6. Click 'Ok' button to generate and save to dashboard.
 

Report Notes

  1. Executive and Strategic Insight reports are available to all site administrators by default. These reports can also be made available to account administrators who have the 'Customer Overview Reports' permission set.
  2. Configured graphs and charts will be saved to your Strategic Insights dashboard.
  3. Hover over graph or chart for additional options: arrange widget, view data set used to generate widget, trash widget.
  4. Cycles are available for comparison insights like Total Number of Joins, Open Rate, CT Rare, etc. The cycle is a Year over year for that specific date range. So for example, if you choose open rate for Jan 2025 and then select 3 cycles it will give you the open rate for Jan 2025, Jan 2024 and Jan 2023.
  5. Strategic & Executive Insight reports are configurable and viewable in the Legacy platform and not yet available in Air. Contact Support for help or questions at support@delivra.com
