Add to Calendar for Emails
Delivra’s email editor includes the ability to create a calendar event with add-to-calendar functionality. This provides a simple and effective way for your contacts to save events directly to their personal calendars from the emails that you send.
The Add to Calendar block will allow you to pre-program calendar invites that work with major calendar platforms including Google, Outlook, Apple, and Yahoo. For everything else, there’s a downloadable .ics file.
Add a Calendar event to your email design
1. Drag an Add to Cal element (left) into your canvas (center).
2. Click on the element to customize event details in the event editor (right).
Add to Calendar Customization Options
- Creating the event: Event Name, Location, Start/End Time.
- Event Header: Event title, spacing, color, font family & size.
- Link Styling: Color, font family & size, dividers, spacing.
- Calendar Links: Choose calendar platforms to include.
Once sent, your recipients will be able to click the calendar link to easily add your event to their calendars.
Best Practices and Tips

Make the link clear: Use language like "Add to Calendar" or "Save the Event" for easy recognition.

Test before sending: Always test the add-to-calendar in your test emails to ensure the event is created for included clients and is accessible and behaves as expected across devices.

Include fallback details: In case a recipient of your email contact cannot use calendar functionality, include the event information (date, time, location) directly in the email as well.
