Paved Integration

Delivra’s integration with Paved allows you to monetize your newsletters by serving programmatic ads directly within your email content. Once connected, you can place and manage Paved ads inside the Design Editor and review performance reporting without leaving Delivra. It is a straightforward setup that opens the door to new revenue opportunities while keeping your workflow in one place.

If Paved is new to you, they are a newsletter advertising platform that connects publishers with advertisers. Through paved.com, publishers can manage sponsorships, access advertiser demand, and serve targeted ads inside their newsletters. The Delivra integration makes it easy to bring those ads directly into your campaigns.

Getting Connected

Connecting Delivra to Paved requires only a Paved API key.

Step 1: Get Your Paved API Key

Log in to your Paved account and generate your API key. Paved provides instructions in their knowledge base article here:

Step 2: Enter the API Key in Delivra

In Delivra:

  1. Click on Settings, then Data Setup, then Integrations.

  2. Click on the Paved integration.

  3. Paste your API key into the provided field.

  4. Click Save.

Once saved, the integration is complete. Delivra will securely connect to Paved and begin pulling in the necessary data to power ad selection and reporting.

Adding a Paved Ad to Your Email

A new tool called Paved Ad is now available in the Design Editor.

  1. Open your email in the Design Editor.

  2. Locate the Paved Ad tool in the content panel.

  3. Drag it into your layout where you would like the ad to appear.

When placed, a placeholder image will appear in the editor that reads “ad by paved.” This placeholder marks the ad location within your email design. Clicking on the ad placeholder will reveal the option to Select Ad on the right-side panel. Clicking this will open a new screen where the Newsletter and Ad can be selected from dropdown menus. The values in these dropdowns are pulled directly from your Paved account.

Note that the placeholder in the Design step will remain as “ad by paved” even after selecting an ad. The live ad does not render in the Design view.

To see how the ad will appear in your email, navigate to the Preview step of your campaign and enter an email address of a subscriber. This will render a preview of your campaign with the selected live ad in place.

Ad Performance Reporting

A new report called Ad Performance is available in Analytics. This report allows you to view ad performance over a specified time period and review metrics associated with your served ads. All reporting data is pulled directly from Paved’s servers to ensure alignment with your Paved account metrics.
