When creating beautiful and consistent emails, small design details can have a big impact. One of those details is button styling. The Delivra drag-and-drop editor allows you to define custom button styles so you can maintain a uniform look across your messages with ease.
You can define and save specific button styles within the STYLE tab of the drag-and-drop editor. Once set, these styles will automatically apply to new buttons added to your templates—saving time and ensuring consistency across campaigns.
To set up your button styles:
Open the drag-and-drop editor and select the STYLE tab from the left-hand navigation panel.
Scroll past the Typography section until you reach the Buttons section.
Here, you'll find a variety of styling options that can be configured to match your brand.
Within the Buttons section, you can configure:
Button Text Color – Customize the font color for the text inside the button.
Button Color – Set the background color of the button itself.
Width / Height – Define how wide or tall your buttons should appear.
Border – Add or remove borders and choose their thickness and color.
Radius – Adjust the curvature of the button’s corners for rounded or squared edges.
Padding – Add space inside the button to control spacing between the text and button edges.
These settings apply globally to new buttons added to the template. Existing buttons already in your layout will retain their current styling unless manually updated.
Use consistent styles across templates to maintain a polished look that reflects your brand.
Ensure contrast between text and button background for optimal readability and accessibility.
Test on mobile—button sizing and padding can impact mobile usability.
Name your template styles clearly if you plan to reuse templates or clone them across campaigns.
Brand Standardization: A marketing team sets brand-approved button styles (e.g., navy background, white text, rounded corners) to streamline email production.
Rapid Campaign Creation: A user creating a weekly newsletter can quickly drag in new buttons without adjusting the styling each time.
Design Consistency: Teams working across multiple departments ensure that all CTAs (calls-to-action) follow the same visual standards, reducing friction in the customer journey.
